Former Enron Corp. Chief Executive Jeffrey Skilling ended lengthy testimony in his
federal fraud trial Thursday by denying a new government accusation - that he
may have cheated on his taxes.

A Securities and Exchange Commission advisory panel Thursday formally
recommended exempting thousands of small public companies from key parts of a
2002 corporate accounting law.

UW Awarded $2.6 Million Business Ethics Grant from Daniels Fund
Business ethics education in the Rocky Mountain region has received a major
boost with the announcement today (Thursday) of a $2.62 million grant from the
Daniels Fund to the University of Wyoming College of Business. This commitment
expands upon a 2005 grant of $900,000 to establish UW's Bill Daniels
Distinguished Professorship of Business Ethics.

JPMorgan Agrees to Pay $425 Million to Settle IPO Fraud Suits
JPMorgan Chase & Co., one of dozens of banks sued for rigging initial public
offerings during the 1990s Internet stock boom, agreed to pay $425 million to
settle the case, the bank said.

Former South Carolina School District Official Indicted For Role in Scheme
to Defraud Federal E-Rate Program
The Department of Justice announced today that a federal grand jury in Columbia,
S.C. returned a 12-count indictment alleging that a former South Carolina school
district official committed mail and wire fraud in a scheme to defraud the federal
E-Rate program. The Department said that the charges stem from fraudulent
applications for E-Rate funding that former technology director Cynthia K. Ayer
submitted on behalf of Bamberg County School District One in Bamberg, S.C.
