09/14/05 SEC charges Biopure, 3 execs with fraud - Biopure Corp. (BPUR.OQ:
Quote, Profile, Research) -- one of a handful of companies trying to develop
synthetic blood products -- on Wednesday was charged with securities fraud for
allegedly hiding bad news in 2003 about its product, Hemopure.
