Refco bidder eyes more than futures unit - U.S. broker-dealer Interactive
Brokers Group, the highest bidder for Refco Inc.'s (RFXCQ.PK: Quote, Profile,
Research) futures brokerage business, said on Tuesday it may also be interested
in buying another part of the bankrupt company.

4 more sentenced in 'flipping' cases - Four more people were sentenced
to prison Tuesday for playing parts in a $50 million mortgage fraud scheme, but

Calif. Auto Insurance Fraud Ring Lands Three Suspects in Jail -  Three
suspects have been arrested following an 11-month investigation by the
California Department of Insurance of an auto insurance fraud ring that targeted
car rental and insurance companies for fraudulent automobile damage claims.

Promoters of "Inflatable Motorcycle Vests" Sentenced - The promoters of
a supposedly inflatable motorcycle vest have been sentenced on 30 felony counts
of securities fraud and grand theft, as well as five counts of tax evasion, California
Attorney General Bill Lockyer announced.
